if you love "All Quiet on the Western Front," "Moby Dick," or "A Tale of Two Cities," then prepare to hate all of them with a passion. For this one Autobiography will make you think that all other books look like toilet paper

tools

http://www.myspace.com/weirdal

Go to this website and click on "Hardware Store," (as well as all of Al's other Excellent songs) and you'll catch a fraction of the excitement of what I feel when I go to the hardware stores. And when I get a new tool, it's like floating on air. I have developed an amazing relationship with tools. They're just so dang cool! If you need to do anything, there's a tool to help you with it, screwdrivers, levels, squares, hammers, pencils, pens, saws, and millions and millions and millions of tools exist on this earth. Man, is just so awesome what people have thought of, just all the different tools, I mean, to invent a tool is probably one of the most fulfilling jobs there are, you get to help so many people, and it's satisfying, and all that happy stuff.

Ok, this is a bit of a two-parter, but it does pertain to The great artist Al Yankovic. As all of you know, and are extremely disapointed, as I am, his new album "Straight outta Lynwood" came out on Tuesday the 27th of September. But alas, I went to HMV on Tuesday with my money and my hopes up high, and I looked, and looked, and looked, and finally I had to resort to asking one of the workers "Hey, where's the new Weird Al album?" And this young woman (who had dreads and looked like a serious rocker, so I felt mighty inadequite asking her this, but I was determined to get this album) told me that it won't be out till October 2nd. October 2nd!? I mean, I know so many people (including all of you) who were willing to camp out in order to get this on the 27th! And We have to wait another week to get this album, I tell ya, this better be the best dang album ever! (which it's got great potential to be)

ok bye.

eviction

I now have a new respect for landlords. I, like many in the real estate market, have evicted a family. I didn't want to, and I'm sure they didn't want me to, as one of them tried to bite me (I think, he was jumping around a lot anyway). Yes, On Wednesday I was forced to evict a family of mice from a garbage pile that I had to move at work. I felt bad. I was moving some wood, and I got down to the sawdust, when I saw something wriggling in there. I thought it to be a frog at first, but it turned out to be a mouse. I felt bad for the little guy, every time I picked up a peice of garbage he'd scurry and hide underneath another until I took that away, then he eventually ran away into the bushes. So I continued my work until lo and behold, mouse number two started wriggling around. After trying to hide under the garbage, he came out and fought: (this must have been the father, as most fathers do their best to protect their homes and families) yes, he stood on his little hind legs, jumped around, and (I think) tried to bite me, but he eventually gave up, and ran into the bushes too. The third mouse didn't really try to hide or put up a fight, he was more of a coward, and just ran into the bushes right away. So now I know how hard it is to kick a family out of their home, but somethings just must be done. And if those mice ever become literate, get the internet, and read this, then please forgive me, if it was up to me, your little home would have been saved, but I have to work, and that pile of garbage really was an eyesore, maybe you can move into the basement of the house, it's a lot nicer.

life lessons from a formerly useless slinkey

I just spent about half an hour repairing a slinkey. It reminded me of a relationship in a way. Let me give you the rundown: It seemed like a little thing that I did to twist up the slinkey a bit, but it was near the middle, so I did some twisting and turning and eventually it was just horrible! I looked like an impossible fix, indeed, even I didn't think I could do it (as I fix that particular slinkey very often, due to my incompetence). So I took a look at the slinkey, and followed the wire to the exact trouble spots, I had to do much maneuvering and forcing, and it seemed like I was wrecking it more, but in the end, I fixed it! (actually, I think I turned it inside out, but we all need to change a little bit). Much like a relationship, something gets twisted just a little, and you do your best to twist it back, but it just gets out of hand and horrible, and you don't know what to do when it looks like all is lost. Sometimes you've just got to twist and turn, and take risks in order to fix it, I mean, sometimes they don't always get fixed, but time heals all wounds, and in the end, it'll be ok.

ok bye.

forklifts

man! Forklifts are just so dang cool! I work for a construction company, and since I've fractured my ankle, I've been doing a lot of driving, and going to a lot of warehouses, and I've seen a whole bunch of forklifts. Whoa, they're the ultimate vehicle, they're just so sweet! There's nothing really special about them, but I just really like them, they can be propane powered, electric, or gas, I mean, that's just so versitile, it's just so cool! Anyway, that's all I wanted to say.

ok. bye

laundry

laundry has helped me in many ways. Remember when you were a kid, and you rode the laundry basket down the stairs and landed face first in the wall? Well, that concept helped me today: we had to lug this big furnace up the stairs, and I thought, hey, why not laundry basket it? well, we did it, and it worked? so a tip: whenever you've got to lift stuff up stairs, just lay it flat, and push it up!

ok bye.

the beast

so today I experienced something new. I got to drive the company truck! It's gotta be about 23 years old at least, it's really awesome! the air conditioning throws out hot air, and the tailgate doesn't come down. The speedometer is broken too. It's awesome, I really enjoy that truck.

awesome songs

hey all, I was at EB games the other day, and I bought a godzilla fighting game, (for only 12 dollars, but it didn't come with a manual so it's kind of confusing and hard, but it's pretty sweet). Anyway, I got this card that tells me I've got 10 free downloads. I went on the site today, and completely drew blanks as to what I should download. I mean, the library is an excellent resource, so I can get songs for free anyway. Thus comes the challenge!!

If you can give me the names of some good songs that you are sure are absolutely not in the library (this will require some research for you, I'll get you started: go to http://epl.ca/ and put the name of the cd/artist in the search thingy). Now if you recommend me a song and I CAN get it from the library, then you lose!, so research first, then tell me (if you just want to recommend awesome songs, feel free, but make sure you distinguish this from the songs you recommend that I use my card for...get it?...didn't think so). um, there's no prize or anything, but I sure will be satisfied if I can use my card for sweet songs,

ok bye.
